#PAINTGARY.
ABOUT >
#PAINTGARY is a movement organized to fill the City of Gary with vibrant and thought-provoking public art. The installations invite exploration of downtown Gary and help residents and visitors bridge the gap between residential neighborhoods and the city center. Culminating in a self-guided walkable and bike-friendly tour that encourages people to explore local surroundings.
#PAINTGARY was established in the summer of 2018 and continues today. This project could not have been accomplished without the creative sector's generosity, supportive allies, and spirit of volunteerism. It is primarily self-funded by individual artists, guest curators, and the project founder.
